About Person County Records

Person County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site for finding the official offices and portals behind arrest, booking, detention, court, and state-custody information in Person County, North Carolina. It does not host a photo gallery or hold government records. The aim is to make the right source easier to identify, especially when the county’s public jail pages do not provide a searchable roster.

Why This Reference Exists

North Carolina public-record rules do not put every arrest detail in one place. Person County’s Sheriff and Detention Center publish jail operations and contact information, while Roxboro Police provides a separate P2C Arrests module and Daily Bulletin. The Clerk and North Carolina eCourts hold the court trail. North Carolina Department of Adult Correction covers state prison, probation, and parole. This site gathers those official paths, labels their limits, and explains when a records request is the only practical route.

What You Can Find

The county-specific pages point to records rather than reproduce them.

  • The home page explains Person County booking records, the missing public jail roster, records requests, law, and custody-state differences.
  • Roxboro Busted Mugshots follows the city’s official P2C arrest and bulletin tools.
  • Most Wanted Fugitives explains why no local public list was located and how to check public court information safely.
  • Crime News maps Person County Life, historical Courier-Times material, regional reporting, and secondary indexes.
  • Supporting pages explain contact routes, privacy, terms, and the limits of arrest information.

What We Cannot Do

This project has no affiliation with the Person County Sheriff’s Office, Roxboro Police Department, North Carolina courts, or North Carolina Department of Adult Correction. It cannot confirm live custody, release a person, post bond, schedule a visit, or issue an official booking record. Only the responsible government office can confirm the current status of a record.

An arrest or booking photo is an accusation record, not proof of guilt. Check the court disposition and use official sources for current information.

Some pages contain a third-party search widget. A provider may charge for a service or pay a referral fee when a visitor signs up. Those providers control their own prices, results, data handling, and terms. The widget does not turn this private reference site into a government records custodian.
